MahaRera has directed Kalpataru Yashodhan promoters to refund over Rs 1.40 crore plus interest to a homebuyer couple. The promoters failed to deliver a flat booked in 2017 by the promised date. They then illegally forfeited the entire amount paid by the couple and sold the flat to another party. MahaRera ruled this forfeiture arbitrary and violative of Rera regulations.
