Haryana Rera has dismissed a developer’s attempt to claim extra compensation from homebuyers. The developer had sought unpaid installments and additional damages. Rera ruled that the builder-buyer agreement already outlines remedies for payment defaults. The authority stated that contractual rights cannot be expanded through regulatory forums. Both parties will bear their own costs.
