A dedicated cell to recover dues for homebuyers from Rera adjudicated cases has been dropped. Instead, a special deputy commissioner for Bengaluru Urban district has been appointed to speed up recovery. This move aims to address the slow recovery of amounts owed to homebuyers. Homebuyers’ associations are calling for better coordination and time-bound disposal of cases.
